Crazy Charlotte!
No pics involved in this post, which is a good thing considering its content! Ha! We went on a walk last night after dinner and when we made it back to the house, Charlotte was telling us her nose hurt. We checked it out and didn't see anything odd. A few minutes later she complained about it again and upon further inspection we found a berry that she had shoved up her nose!! Nothing surpises me anymore with her...but thank goodness we got it out! When I told her to NEVER do that again she said "ok...I like your hair mommy." Only Charlotte....
Florida!
So...we went to Florida the end of March to see Uncle Sam play at Bay Hill. We had a wonderful time, but of course I forgot my camera! So..this entry is more about remembering our trip rather than pics! Sam played well and we enjoyed spending time with family (minus Em, Chris and Sammy since new baby Schneider will be arriving soon!). The family Spears all camped out in one room and the girls did great. We took Charlotte to Disney World one day and Mom kept Grace. The lines were rather long, but Charlotte loved Small World, Snow White and especially the Tea Cups (because they went the fastest of course!). Parker had to come back to Asheville early, but the girls and I stayed in FL for the week and went to the pool and relaxed. All went well until we had to drive back to Asheville. My friend Ali and I decided to make the trip home together since the husbands had to come back early. That of course left us with the four kids...so..we headed off on Good Friday with Sophia and Charlotte sitting together and Berk and Grace in the middle. Holy moly, longest trip of our life! We were stuck in about 3 hours of traffic to add to our 9 hour drive!! Needless to say Ali and I about had a nervous breakdown!....but we laughed a lot and there is no one I would rather spend 12 hours in a car with than Ali! She is the best and the girls adore her! Wish I had my camera to take a pic of us all crammed in that car!!
Easter!!
We had such a wonderful Easter Sunday with the kids. We headed to a very crowded, but wondferful church service then headed home for lunch and naps. Aunt Em Spears came for a visit and then our friends the Banchiere's came over for a cook-out and an egg hunt. The kids had such a good time...especially Charlotte and Sophia (who Charlotte calls "Fosha").
